Vision-X Dubai 2006 – once known as Optical Middle East – is the 7th Optical and Ophthalmic Exhibition and Conference held in the Middle East region. It is the most comprehensive eyewear and eye care event in the region, and is now poised to become the largest as event organisers announce that "…this year’s edition will break existing records for growth in its exhibitors, trade visitor and actual floor space."
The event will be held from 13 Feb. to 14 Feb. 2006, and will involve world-class exhibitors such as Johnson & Johnson Vision Care (ME) and Hilton International Eyewear. You can expect to see international speakers address a variety of critical topics, including trends in the eyewear and eye care industries.
But from what I can see, it’s more of an event for optical and ophthalmic retailers, distributors and staff, than for consumers.
